Privacy policy
This policy applies to the MEYBot website, email contacts, contact forms, demos and the built-in chatbot. Processing is organized with regard to the GDPR, the French Data Protection Act (“Informatique et Libertés”), and CNIL guidance.

2. Data that may be processed
- contact data voluntarily provided by the user: name, email, company, role, and the content of the request;
- messages sent through the built-in chatbot, together with the technical session context needed to answer and continue the conversation;
- technical data: IP address, browser and device information, time of access, system logs and diagnostic data;
- information about cookie choices and, when allowed by the user, functional identifiers needed for the chatbot.
3. Why the data is used
- to operate the website and the built-in chatbot;
- to answer requests and prepare a demo, commercial proposal or project;
- to ensure security, diagnose errors and protect the infrastructure;
- to comply with legal requirements and maintain internal records related to requests.
4. Legal bases
- contract and pre-contract steps — when the user contacts us for a demo, guidance or project launch;
- legitimate interest — when website security, service stability and technical logs need to be maintained;
- consent — for non-essential functional cookies and any additional tools that require consent under French rules and CNIL guidance;
- legal obligation — where storage or disclosure is required by law.
5. Who may access the data
Data is accessible only to authorized people at MEY Global and to technical providers when access is genuinely necessary for hosting, email, infrastructure, website support or AI components. The main hosting of the website is in France. If some services involve providers outside the European Economic Area, the protection mechanisms required by law are applied.
6. Retention periods
- requests and chatbot messages — generally up to 12 months after the last substantive interaction, unless the relationship develops into a contracted project;
- technical logs and diagnostic data — up to 12 months, unless a shorter period applies in the specific case;
- cookie choice — up to 6 months.
7. User rights
The user may request access to their data, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and may object to processing in the cases provided by law. Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn for the future.
Requests can be sent to info@meybot.com. If no response is received within one month, or if the response is not satisfactory, the user may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
8. Important note about the chatbot
Please do not send sensitive data through the chatbot unless genuinely necessary: health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade-union membership, or other special categories of personal data.
